Aloyo Yen has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to community involvement throughout both her personal and professional life. She has been an active member of local advocacy groups focused on promoting equity and empowering young adults to effect positive change. 

 

While pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Healthcare Administration, Aloyo continued to engage in community service activities and graduated a semester ahead of schedule. Following graduation, she worked with the NH Charitable Foundation's Community Listening Team to conduct extensive research on the barriers to opportunity in New Hampshire, surveying over 400 residents. Their research identified access to resources as a significant obstacle to success. Aloyo is currently pursuing a Master's in Accounting Degree in order to provide more financial services to her small business clients.

Greetings! I have been a resident of New Hampshire for over 16 years, and my personal history as a former South Sudanese refugee who migrated to the United States in 2005 has shaped my experiences. Growing up in a low-income household, my family and I faced numerous obstacles that were challenging to overcome. However, my interest in financial well-being was piqued when I attended my first money management class in high school. Throughout my life, I have assisted my mother with daily tasks, including financial management and paperwork organization. I observed that many of my peers' families were also experiencing financial difficulties, with some depending on their children for guidance in navigating life in a new country. As my own financial management skills improved over time, my friends began seeking my advice on financial matters. I am pleased to have founded Aloyo Money Management, LLC, where I provide bookkeeping services, daily money management services, and fundamental personal finance training.
